Several areas in WP released from Isolation including Fort and Borella

Several police divisions in the Western Province that had been isolated were open from 05.00 am this morning.

Colombo District

Accordingly, out of the 17 police divisions in the Colombo District that had been isolated so far, the Borella, Wellampitiya, Colombo Fort and Slave Island police divisions were released from isolation.

However, the Wanathamulla Grama Niladhari Division in the Borella Police Division and the Wekanda Grama Niladhari Division in Slave Island have been isolated until further notice.

The 13 police divisions in the Colombo District that will remain isolated are as follows;

Wolfendhal Street

Maligawatta

Dematagoda

Keselwatta

Maradana

Dam Street

Gampaha

Only Ja-Ela and Kadawatha police divisions in the Gampaha district were released from isolation at 05.00 am this morning.

the Negombo, Ragama, Wattala, Peliyagoda and Kelaniya police divisions in the Gampaha district remain isolated, according to the National Operations Center for the Prevention of the spread of Covid-19.

Meanwhile, the following areas of the Bandaragama Police Division in the Kalutara District have been designated as isolated areas.
