Two inmates from Bogambara who tried to escape infected with covid-19
Police noted that it has been confirmed that the inmate who died while attempting to flee from the old Bogambara prison and the inmate who was arrested upon fleeing were COVID -19 positive.
Accordingly the total number of prison related COVID-19 cases has risen to 550.
Further, the provision of recommended drugs and medicine by the department of indigenous medicine to inmates for the improvement of immunity, took place yesterday.
