Divulapitiya and Peliyagoda cluster now exceeds 14,000
The number of coronavirus infected person reported in the country has risen to 17,674.
This was with another 382 coronavirus positive cases reported yesterday afternoon.
The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva stated that the total number of infected persons reported from the Divulapitiya and Peliyagoda Covid cluster has now increased to 14,170.
The total number of people who have been cured of the coronavirus and discharged from hospitals is now close to 12,000.
The total number of coronavirus infected people who have recovered so far is 11,806, including the 311 who were discharged after their recovery yesterday.
