Five-time champions Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants have officially been knocked out of the playoff race in the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Mumbai Indians were eliminated after suffering a last-ball two-wicket defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Sunday, while Lucknow Super Giants crashed out following their five-wicket loss to Chennai Super Kings earlier in the day.
