Navy Foils High-Seas Narcotics Smuggling Attempt
Sri Lanka Navy has arrested six suspects along with a multi-day fishing vessel during a special operation in the deep southern seas, on suspicion of drug trafficking.
Navy Spokesperson Commander Buddhika Sampath confirmed that the vessel is currently being escorted to shore for further investigation.
