
696 Suspects Arrested in Island-Wide Special Police Operation
696 suspects have been arrested in a special police operation conducted across the island.
A total of 28,194 individuals were inspected yesterday, of whom 24 were identified as being directly involved in criminal activities.
329 arrests were made based on existing warrants, while 174 individuals with open warrants under their names were also taken into custody.
Additionally, 27 drunk drivers were arrested, and 24 others were detained for reckless driving.
This special police operation is being carried out under the instructions of the Inspector General of Police.
