Murder & Van Robbery Suspects Arrested in Seeduwa
Two suspects linked to a murder and van robbery in Wennappuwa have been arrested, police confirmed.
The crime occurred on June 13 within the Wennappuwa police division. Acting on a tip-off, officers apprehended the two men on June 16 in Seeduwa.
Investigations revealed the stolen van had been abandoned in the Kandy area and has since been recovered. A motorcycle stolen from the crime scene was also found.
The suspects, aged 26 and 29, are residents of Lunuwila and Wennappuwa. Further investigations are ongoing.
