President To Depart Today to Attend 10th World Water Forum High-Level Meeting in Indonesia
President, Ranil Wickremesinghe, is to depart today for the 10th World Water Forum High-Level Meeting, which is held from May 18th to 20th, 2024, in Bali, Indonesia.
This significant gathering, themed “Water for Shared Prosperity,” will convene global leaders to address pressing issues related to water management and sustainability.
Meanwhile, former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is also scheduled to leave for Indonesia today.
She will be delivering a keynote speech at World Water Forum High-Level Meeting.
The conference will be held from May 18th to the 21st.
The former president is attending the conference at the invitation of the Indonesian government and the Council of Presidents of the United Nations General Assembly.
