Island-Wide Power Restoration in Progress – CEB
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) states that around 50 percent of reported power outages have been restored.
CEB media spokesperson, Engineer Dhammika Wimalaratne, said that a total of 65,945 power outages have been reported so far.
Of these, 33,208 have been restored.
He added that teams have been deployed across the island to restore power in the remaining areas.
