TV bosses complain of obstructions by health authorities to shoot teledramas
The Broadcaster’s Guild of Sri Lanka has called on Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella to intervene and resolve issues faced by organizations producing local teledramas in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a letter to the Minister, the Broadcaster’s Guild of Sri Lanka pointed out that despite being granted permission to carry on with the production of teledramas, production crews were constantly facing issues due to health authorities in various parts of the country.
The issue has been raised with the subject Minister after two crews of a production company were prevented from shooting a local teledrama by area residents in Bandarawela recently.
