Three Sri Lanka Army personnel contract COVID-19
PCR tests have confirmed that three members of the Sri Lanka Army have contracted the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
Reportedly, 03 soldiers of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Corps of the Army have been diagnosed in this manner.
The soldiers had been undergoing quarantine at the quarantine center set up at the Sri Pada College of Education in Talawakele-Patana when they were subjected to PCR tests by the Nuwara Eliya Medical Officer of Health, yesterday (02).
On October 29, 03 officers, 239 soldiers, and 7 individuals engaged in civil duties at the Malay Street Camp in Colombo have been directed for quarantine at the aforementioned quarantine center.
Reportedly, they had engaged in duties related to the Peliyagoda Fish Market.
