Vehicle transfering : Significant new change announced.
Starting May 17, 2023, the Department of Motor Traffic has made a significant change regarding the information included in the Certificate of Registration of Motor Vehicles.
The number of former owners will no longer be listed on the certificate. Instead, only the immediate previous owner will be mentioned.
It’s important to note that the computer system maintained by the Department of Motor Traffic will continue to retain information on previous owners.
