The Department of Examinations has announced that tuition classes for the 2024 Advanced Level subject of Engineering Technology will be banned from midnight today.

Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara said that subject-related lectures, seminars, workshops, and printing and distribution of model question papers will be banned from midnight today until the 1st of March.

Practical examinations for the 2024 Advanced Level Engineering Technology subject will take place across 41 centres nationwide from tomorrow until the 1st of March.

The Department of Examinations says that the date and location for the candidate's examination are specified on their admission paper and that no changes will be made to the date or location under any circumstances.

Candidates are also required to arrive at the examination centre at least one hour before the scheduled time mentioned on their admission paper.
