Father of one killed in a train accident
A father of one was killed after being hit by a train transporting limestone from the Aruwakkadu area in Eluwankulama.
The train that got into the accident was transporting limestone from Aruwakkaduwa to Palaviya Cement Factory today morning (02).
The Police suspect that the deceased had succumbed to severe head injuries and excessive bleeding which were a result of the accident.
The deceased has been identified as a 27-year-old father of one residing in the Midiwatta area in Wanathawilluwa.
An autopsy will be conducted on the body, while the Wanathawilluwa Police are conducting further investigations.
