Police Inspect Buses After Sharp Rise In Bus Accidents
The police have begun inspecting buses across Sri Lanka.
Acting Inspector General of Police Priyantha Weerasuriya, said that the rise in accidents is the primary reason for this.
There have also been reports of drivers driving buses while under the influence.
The Acting IGP urges the public to inform the police any incidents where bus drivers are driving carelessly by calling 119 or 1997.
