Consumer Affairs Authority Sets Maximum Retail Prices for Canned Fish
The Consumer Affairs Authority has issued an Extraordinary Gazette notification setting maximum retail prices for canned fish.
Accordingly, the maximum retail price for a 425g can of tuna fish is set at Rs. 380.
The maximum retail price for a 155g can of mackerel is set at Rs. 180.
The maximum retail price for a 425g can of jack mackerel will be Rs. 560.
The Consumer Affairs Authority has stated that these prices are effective starting today.
