Rise in deaths due to road accidents
The number of deaths due to road accidents has risen to 15, according to the police.
Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana stated that 12 deaths due to road accidents were reported yesterday as well.
Seven of them died in accidents yesterday.
The other 5 died while being hospitalized after being injured in previous accidents.
Four of the dead were pedestrians and three were motorcyclists
