Additional Day for Postal Voting in Elpitiya PS Election
The additional day for marking postal votes in the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election is being implemented today.
Galle District Assistant Election Commissioner W.H.R. Wijayakumara stated that government employees who were unable to mark their postal votes on the 14th of this month have the opportunity to do so today.
Government employees can mark their postal votes at the district office.
Meanwhile, election observers report that over 90% of postal votes have already been marked for the Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election.
Galle District Assistant Election Commissioner W.H.R. Wijayakumara also mentioned that eight recognized political parties and one independent group have submitted nominations for the election.
The Elpitiya Pradeshiya Sabha election is scheduled to be held on the 26th of this month.
