Government Printer Initiates Preliminary Work for Presidential Polls
The Department of Government Printing has officially begun preliminary printing operations in preparation for the upcoming Presidential election.
Government Printer Ganga Kalpani Liyanage said the initiation of various printing tasks, including model printing, currently underway at the facility.
Ganga Kalpani Liyanage added that Police officers have been deployed to provide security at the government press.
The Government Printer said that proactive steps will be taken to secure funding from the Election Commission to support ongoing and upcoming printing requirements.
