30,000+ Dengue Cases Reported In 2024
The number of dengue cases reported islandwide has risen to 30,057.
12 deaths have been reported.
1,818 dengue cases were reported so far this month.
The highest number of cases has been reported from the Colombo district, and the number stands at 6,910.
Health officials inform the general public to destroy mosquito breeding grounds, as the prevailing monsoon season increase the spread of dengue.
