Police Inspector arrested on bribery charge
An Inspector of Police attached to the Mahabage Police Station has been arrested by Bribery Commission officials while accepting a bribe of Rs. 25,000.
He had reportedly solicited the bribe on the promise of intervening to settle an amount from a bounced cheque in instalments.
