Speaker signs 20th Amendment
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena placed his signature on the 20th Amendment to the Constitution at his Office in Parliament yesterday. Accordingly its provisions are now in effect. Parliament’s Secretary General Dhammika Dassanayake and his Deputy Neil Iddawela look on.
