Fox Hill Tragedy: School Girl Succumbs To Injuries in Hospital
The 16-year-old girl who was receiving treatment after being injured in the Fox Hill Supercross accident in Diyatalawa tragically lost her life on Wednesday (15) night.
She was a resident of the Welimada area.
The accident occurred during a Fox Hill Supercross car race on April 21st when a car veered off the track and overturned.
As a result, the death toll now stands at 8, with 19 others injured. Currently, only one person remains hospitalized.
Army spokesperson Major General Rasika Kumara said a report into the Fox Hill Supercross accident in Diyatalawa will be submitted to the Army Commander by the 20th of this month.
