Two Arrested Over Pitigala Shooting on March 11
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting and killing of two people at a shop in Pitigala.
Police identified the suspects as two 35-year-old residents of Talgaswala.
Three mobile phones and two motorcycles were also seized from the suspects' possession.
The incident was reported on March 11, when two unidentified individuals entered a shop at the Guruwela Junction in Pitigala and opened fire with a T56 firearm.
Two people were killed and three others were seriously injured in the shooting.
