Sabaragamuwa Uni assault: Seven students to be produced in Court
The seven students who were arrested for assaulting a group of second-year students of the Faculty of Agriculture at the Sabaragamuwa University are scheduled to be produced before the Balangoda Magistrate's Court on Monday (12).
Sri Lanka Police said the relevant students were arrested on Sunday (11) afternoon.
A group of second-year students were assaulted on Friday (09) night while they were at the cafeteria.
A female student and two male students who sustained injuries are currently receiving treatment at the Pambahinna and Balangoda hospitals.
News 1st correspondent said one student's teeth were damaged due to the assault.
