Investigative report over controversial human immunoglobulin purchase handed to Attorney General..!
The completed report of the human immunoglobulin drug transaction investigation has been sent to the Attorney General.
This is to seek legal guidance for further investigations.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) will follow the Attorney General's instructions for future steps.
The CID will re-record the statement of former Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella regarding the drug transaction once again as well.
This follows a review of documents from several officials, including an additional Health Ministry secretary.
The CID emphasizes that these activities are being conducted in collaboration with the Attorney General's Department.
Former Health Secretary Janaka Sri Chandragupta and others remain arrested and remanded in connection with the drug transaction.
