Special dengue control program in place covering Colombo District
The National Dengue Control Unit says that a special dengue control program will be implemented next week to cover the Colombo district.
Its director, Dr. Sudath Samaraweera, said that 20% of dengue cases in the country are reported from the Colombo district.
He added that 6,689 cases of dengue have been reported in the last 18 days of this year alone.
