CEB Engineers refute President's statement in Parliament.
The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers Union (CEBEU) has raised objections against the President's recent statement in Parliament regarding electrical engineers.
Joint Secretary Janaka Lakmewan said a letter in this regard will be handed over to the President's Office on Friday (15).
He said the President claimed in Parliament that CEB engineers obtain commissions through coal and fossil fuels.
Lakmewan said the letter is being directed to refute the President's claims and highlight that CEB engineers have adhered to policy guidelines.
He also called for an investigation to be conducted if there are discrepancies.
