Individual Murdered in Maradana Assault; 19-Year-Old Suspect in Custody
An individual was murdered down Devanampiyatissa Mawatha, Maradana.
According to the police, the murder followed a dispute between two individuals which eventually escalated into physical violence.
The 44-year-old victim was admitted to the National Hospital with serious injuries but later succumbed to his injuries.
The victim's place of residence has not yet been confirmed.
The police reported that a 19-year-old resident of Welimada, was taken into custody in connection with the incident.
