President approves provisions to empower Aswesuma beneficiaries.
The President has granted approval to obtain the necessary provisions for the program to empower Aswesuma beneficiaries.
State Minister of Social Empowerment Anupa Pasqual said the necessary provision will be obtained from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, through the 2024 Budget.
The State Minister said 1.2 million Aswesuma beneficiaries were handed to his Ministry to be empowered, while next years target is 300,000.
He said the necessary facilities will be provided for beneficiaries to do various jobs, and they are empowered under 25 sectors including agriculture and animal husbandry.
