Foreigner drowns while sea-bathing.
A foreigner has drowned while bathing in the Moragalla beach in Aluthgama Police Division on Saturday(2) afternoon.
Police say that a 71-year-old Polish National has died after being admitted to the Beruwala Hospital by area residents.
The foreigner has been sea bathing with his wife when the incident occurred, the police further said.
The body of the deceased has been kept in the morgue of Beruwala hospital to conduct the post mortem inquiry, while Beruwala police are conducting further inquiries.
