Two men arrested for aiding extortion
Two suspects have been arrested over aiding and abetting the extortion of money and sending death threats to the former chairman of the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka Janaka Ratnayake.
Sri Lanka Police said the two suspects were arrested for aiding and abetting the chief suspect and providing the chief suspect accommodation facilities to abscond the Police in Palwehera, Dambulla.
The two suspects are 38 and 40-year-old residents of the area.
