11 Sri Lankans trapped in Gaza arrive in the country.

11 Sri Lankans who were stuck in the Gaza Strip due to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine, arrived in the country early this morning.

They arrived via a Qatar Airways flight.

Two women and nine children belonging to two families are among the group, Head of the Sri Lanka Representative Office in Palestine Bennett Cooray said.

Meanwhile, four more Sri Lankans are staying in a church in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Nine more Sri Lankans are staying in the West Bank, which belongs to Palestine, Bennett Cooray said.
