Police officers to be recruited to Consumer Affairs Authority, says Minister of Trade!!
Minister of Trade, Commerce, and Food Security Nalin Fernando stated that steps will be taken to recruit police officers for the Consumer Affairs Authority.
The Minister added that these police officers will be recruited for the special investigation unit of the authority.
The Minister also stated that steps will be taken to provide complete security for the raids carried out by the officers of the Consumer Affairs Authority as well.
