Suspect arrested with stock of 'ice' in Peliyagoda.
A suspect who was transporting a stock of the narcotic substance known as 'ice' on a motorcycle was arrested in Wanawasala, Peliyagoda.
Sri Lanka Police said one kilogram and 6 grams of the drug were found in the suspect's possession.
The 23-year-old suspect, a resident of Dippitigoda, Kelaniya, is due to appear before the Hulftsdorp Magistrate's Court on Wednesday (16).
At the same time a 37-year-old suspect has been arrested with 10 grams of heroin along the Jumma Masjid Road in Maligawatte.
Sri Lanka Police said a 48-year-old suspect was also arrested in Ratmalana with 6 grams of heroin.
