Children at risk of contracting measles.
The Ministry of Health says that even children who have been given immunization vaccines are at risk of contracting measles.
Deputy Medical Director Dr. G. Wijesuriya said that there is a risk of contracting measles in children whose immunity is weakened due to medical conditions or nutritional deficiencies.
After 2019, Sri Lanka is considered a country that has eradicated measles.
