Medicine Prices Set for Immediate Reduction
The National Medicines Regulatory Authority has announced plans to immediately reduce the prices of 90 types of medicines.
However, obstacles have emerged as several pharmaceutical companies have filed a lawsuit in district court, challenging the decision.
A senior officer said that a motion will be presented to address the legal issues, but the price reductions will proceed as planned.
