Drowning claims lives of two children.
Two children, aged 12 and 15 years, died after drowning while bathing in a river in the Thissapura area in Sripura last evening.
The Police stated that the children who had drowned while swimming in the river had died after being admitted to the Sripura Hospital.
The deceased are a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old, both residents of Thissapura, Sripura.
Investigations have revealed that the children had been jumping into the river from a tree, during which their heads had knocked together resulting in them drowning.
The Sripura Police is conducting investigations into the incident.
