DP Aviation to operate domestic flights to Jaffna in July.
DP Aviation, a Singapore-based specialist Cargo General Sales Agents (GSA) Company, will commence domestic flight operations to Jaffna in July, Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando announced.
Taking to Twitter, Minister Fernando stated that DP Aviation will commence its domestic operation starting flights from the Ratmalana Airport to Jaffna on July 01.
“Sri Lanka Tourism is working closely with DP Aviation to add more domestic routes in the next coming months,” he added.
As per a notice issued by DP Aviation, passengers can fly to Jaffna in 70 minutes for a one-way fare of Rs. 22,000 and a return fare of Rs. 41,500.
DP Aviation will operate four flights per week with a baggage allowance of 07kg per passenger.
