Wheat flour classified as a 'Specified Good'.
A special gazette notification has been issued classifying wheat flour as a 'Specified Good'.
The extraordinary gazette was signed by Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security Nalin Fernando.
The gazette notification said wheat flour was classified as a 'Specified Good' after consulting the Consumer Affairs Authority, as it is an essential commodity.
It will be in effect from midnight on the 16th of June.
