Woman shot dead in Medirigiriya.
A 36-year-old woman was shot dead in Mirishena, Medirigiriya.
Sri Lanka Police said that she was shot at around 7 PM on Thursday (15) while she was in her garden.
The deceased was identified as a mother of three, and the body was moved to the Medirigiriya Hospital morgue.
Police are yet to make an arrest.
