Head-on crash between bus and lorry injures 22 people.
Twenty-two people were injured following an accident in Ambulgama, Hanwella along the Colombo - Avissawella main road on Friday (9) morning.
Sri Lanka Police said the accident was a result of a head-on collision between a lorry and a SLTB bus plying from Akkaraipattu to Colombo.
Among the injured are the drivers of the lorry and the bus.
All the injured individuals were admitted to the Homagama and Nawagamuwa Hospital.
