Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni says young Sri Lankan fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana should not play Test Cricket instead focus on shorter version of the game.
“I would prefer Matheesha Pathirana not to play red ball cricket, play less ODIs and play all the ICC tournaments, he would be a great asset for Sri Lanka” MS Dhoni said after Matheesha Pathirana’s match winning spell against Mumbai Indians.
Matheesha Pathirana took 3/15 runs in his 4 overs in Chennai Super kings comfortable win against Mumbai Indians.
