Two siblings die : Brother jumps into waterfall to save sister
Two siblings have died after drowning in the Parayin Ella waterfall in Monaragala.
The Police said a 23-year-old girl had slipped and fallen into the waterfall, and her elder brother had jumped in to save her. However, both had died after drowning.
The deceased have been identified as a 23-year-old girl and her 30-year-old brother from the Gaminipura area.
It has been reported that the incident had occurred when a group of eight had gone for a visit to the waterfall yesterday.
