Sri Lanka’s first ever Hyper-casual eSport tournament “National Championship Series” (NCS) will begin today.
NCS will be kicking off at 5.00pm today and tomorrow (15th & 16th of May) via IMI Games platform with the endorsement of the Ministry of Youth & Sports.
This will be the first eSport tournament to be hosted with all of Sri Lankan gaming fraternities coming together.
With leadership provided by the Ministry of Youth & Sports endorsing the cyber athletes talent and uplifting the eco-system gives the opportunity to connect eSports Gaming Platform, eSport Ready Games, Cyber athletes and connectivity partners come together.
IMI Games the hyper-casual gaming platform will be the eco-system hosting the virtual nation-wide tournament along with games, players and enablers build up by Sri Lankan talent.
NCS will span across two days with six games with varied skillsets required to compete and win. Six games will be given as six challenges to the players where during the given period of time they need to compete and secure their position in the national leaderboard.
Completing all six challenges the winner standing at the end top of the National Leaderboard will be awarded as the National Champion of the inaugural National Championship Series.
