COVID surge - India : daily cases cross 200,000
The number of daily COVID cases reported from India crossed the 200,000 mark for the first time.
The number of cases reported in the country during the past 24 hours is 200,739.
A total of 1,038 deaths were reported during the period, bringing the total number of deaths to 173,123.
