'Increase the number of labs that can test the cancerous toxins' - PHI's Association
The Public Health Inspectors' Association has pointed out that among the limited number of laboratories in Sri Lanka, only the Government Analyst's Department is equipped to test the presence of the aflatoxin carcinogens in coconut oil samples.
Speaking to the Hiru News, Association Secretary Mahendra Balasuriya stated that the relevant authorities must take the necessary steps to resolve the issue as soon as possible
