Incentives for those who provide info on unauthorized water users
The National Water Supply & Drainage Board has stated that a special operation will be launched to identify persons and places who obtain water illegally.
The NWSDB said in a statement that it would also launch a programme to provide incentives to those who provide information regarding personnel who had obtained illegal water connections.
There is also a focus on further expanding the penalties imposed by the courts on unauthorized water users.
The Board has also initiated a programme to identify illegal water connections using information and technology methods
