Radiographer at Apeksha Hospital arrested for locking two nurses inside radiology room
A Radiographer at the Apeksha Cancer Hospital in Maharagama has been arrested for the forceful detention of two nurses.
Police Spokesman, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana said two Radiographers had forcefully detained two nurses inside the Radiology room for nearly one hour.
The two nurses had filed a complaint with the Maharagama Police two days ago on the incident.
Investigations had revealed that the two Radiographers had forcefully locked up the two nurses inside the Radiology room for an hour.
The Maharagama Police had conducted investigations and had arrested one Radiographer involved in the incident. He will be produced in Court today.
The Police are continuing investigations to arrest the other Radiographer involved in the incident.
DIG Ajith Rohana said charges will be filed against the two Radiographers on forceful detention and for attempting to detain the nurses in a place that could cause harm to their health.
