Navy Apprehends 32 Indian Fishermen Poaching in Sea of Sri Lanka
The Sri Lanka Navy apprehended 32 Indian fishermen who were poaching in the Sea of Sri Lanka.
They were apprehended during a special search operation conducted by the Sri Lanka Navy in the sea area of Mannar, last night.
The Sri Lanka Navy also seized five Indian fishing boats in which the fishermen have arrived.
The apprehended fishermen will be handed over to the Directorate of Fisheries in Talaimannar.
